Environmental sustainability, social responsibility and quality of our products: these are the pillars of our company policy. 

The textile sector has been requiring for a long time the preservation of the fundamental elements of the Earth, the respect of its inhabitants and the reduction of pollutants. For this reason Cotonificio Olcese Ferrari Spa undertakes to implement virtuous practices in terms of using recycled fibers, monitoring the supply chain and eliminating toxic and harmful chemicals. Our subscription to the program ZDHC MRSL is meant to tackle this third aspect. 

It is well-known that recycling raw materials rather than using virgin raw materials guarantees a considerable saving of water and energy and a reduction of carbon dioxide emissions throughout the production process. 

Some applications of this philosophy of reduction of resource consumption are our yarns for circular knitting Spritz, made of 20% recycled cotton, and Recycled, made of 60% recycled cotton, also available for flat knitting as Melcom Recycled.  

The quality and the ethicality of the fibers contained in our yarns are also guaranteed by the standards on which we agreed. In fact, many of our yarns are OEKO-TEX®, FSC®, GOTS and OCS certified.
