At Cotonificio Olcese Ferrari we work with the goal of developing and implementing innovation policies on several fronts, and consider sustainability an important challenge that forms part of our business model to approach and face new horizons.
For this reason, we select raw materials that meet high quality standards and that respect the fundamental principles of environmental and social sustainability.
Our goal is to assess and monitor the supply chain to minimise environmental impact.
The fibres used in the production of our yarns, in fact, are traceable, OEKO-TEX®, FSC®, GOTS and GRS certified, and manufactured with low environmental impact and full respect for workers.
Recycling textile waste, using organic raw materials and producing increasingly advanced environmentally-friendly fibres with eco-design are just some of the ways in which we are developing our lines. By doing so, we aim to satisfy the needs of the most demanding customers and designers while promoting Italian creative talent.
Our company's commitment to the circular economy
We are continually and enthusiastically implementing the practices of the circular economy.
We use recycled and GRS certified fibres in the production of our yarns.
In our plants, we have installed GRS certified lines that we use to manufacture recycled cotton yarns from internal spinning waste.
Maximising recyclability at the end of product life is also an important factor with which we address the challenges of the circular economy. In fact, we engineer our yarns according to the eco-design approach, making blends that are more recyclable and mixing fibres that are as compatible as possible.
